Thikey Monastery is one of the oldest monastery in Leh, the Maitreya budha statue probably is the most photographed statue of the Buddha of the future! A 15 metres (49 ft) high statue it took 4 years to craft.Its was a beautiful experience to visit the Gompa and witness the art and culture.
